Independent Founder Advisor | Executive Coach | Perspective, judgement & challenge
What tends to be consistent is the need for somewhere to think openly, away from the pressures and agendas that naturally exist inside a business.
My role is to provide that space — and to bring perspective, judgement and challenge to it.
The work often moves between three things: the founder's own role, the leadership around them and the business itself.
A conversation about strategy may turn out to be a leadership question.
A leadership problem may really be about the founder's role.
And a decision about stepping back may require changes across all three.
That is why I don't approach the work as a fixed programme or methodology.
I get to know the founder and their business, understand what they are trying to create and work with the questions that matter as they emerge.
Sometimes that means giving a clear view.
Sometimes asking a difficult question.
Sometimes helping a founder slow down long enough to work out what they actually think.
Usually it involves all three.
